Once Upon a time there was a biological process called Mitosis.
Mitosis was a simple little process repeating again and again with no change.
-
Mitosis had a lot of waiting in interphase before he could do anything so Mitosis often has a dull life But luckily things would get more exciting as the Prophase so long awaited finally began
-
Poor Mitosis in Interphase
-
Prophase began and Chromosomes began to condense. "Oh what fun" said Mitosis "This is so much better than Interphase I feel like I was waiting for years to start Prophase. Oh It is time to open the Nuclear envelope and let the Chromosomes go!"
-
Prophase
-
"Phrophase is done" saied Mitosis "Time to move on to Metaphase where the centrioles shall grab the Chromosomes and move to opposite ends of the cell"
-
Metaphase
-
"Finaly" cries Mitsosis "Metaphase is done so let us begin Anaphase location of the longest running tie in games of tug of war. On one side a centriole and on the other side a centriole each pulling on sevral fibers each connected to Chromosomes. Oh no the Chromosmes have split in two once again this game of tug of war is a tie once again!"
-
Anaphase
"Aftermath of the tug of war game."
-
"Now It is time for telaphase and cytokoinesis where we seal the chromosomes into nuclear envolopes once again and seperate the cell into two daughter cells"
-
Telophase and cytokinesis
-
The two completed Daughter cells
-
"Finaly I am done" said Mitosis "now the cycle begins again and I must wait in Interphase until Prophase comes again. Still my job is important for I create new cells which are the building blocks of life so surly there is no biological process more important than me."
"You are mistake for I am Meiosis and I am a far more important Biological Process like you I create new cells however I create 4 new cells with genitic variation. Now then let me tell you how."
-
"like you I have a interphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase, and cytokinesis. Then I go through prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase and cytokinesis again so I get four cells instead of two. Also I start with a cell that contains genetic information from two diffrent people and I spread that genetic information around randomly so every time I come out diffrently. Said Meiosis
-
Meiosis from beginning to end.
-
"Let us drop this silly argument for we are both equaly important for without me there would be no life and without you there would also be no life" Said Mitosis
"I agree let us stop this petty argument and work togther to maintain life and let it grow." said Meiosis
THE END
P.S I cannot find a moral to this story.
P.P.S The ending sucks but I could not think of a better one.
